Snow Days

I spent 3-4 hours shoveling today and I have no one to blame but myself. I am a softy, a softy and a perfectionist. Not only do I think my tenants appreciate my shoveling the grounds for them, but I know if it was left to them, they would not do a job that I was satisfied with. When you choose to act as a landlord, think about the responsibilities of the tenant and how they mesh with your preferences. At about hour 3 I decided next year maybe I will have to put perfection aside and allow the tenants to get some fresh air. It builds character.

Thick Skinned

Humor is often humorous because it exaggerates, but there is a sad truth in this message. Since there are a few cuts on Realtors my enjoyment was punctuated but the experience was still a net positive.
